Senior AI Engineer - Innovation Team
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 DOE + Package
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Dublin-based Innovation Pod. In this role, you won't just build thin API wrappers-you will design, deploy, and maintain end-to-end production AI systems and machine learning models that solve complex financial and operational challenges.
You will collaborate directly with engineering leadership to take autonomous AI agents and predictive ML systems from concept to live production cloud environments.
Example Impact Projects
- Procedural Generation Agents: Building multi-step autonomous LLM agents that parse complex workflows and generate operational procedures automatically.
- Predictive Financial ML: Designing and training production ML models to forecast multi-million euro cash flow balances and liquidity events.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Skills:
- Production Python: High proficiency in core Python, async programming, and API microservices architecture.
- AWS Cloud Engineering: Hands-on experience deploying, hosting, and maintaining production services on AWS.
- Production AI/ML: Demonstrated experience delivering live machine learning models and modern GenAI applications to users.
- End-to-End System Design: Ability to architect low-latency AI pipelines, manage state/persistence, and maintain operational reliability.
- Senior-Level Impact: Proven track record of taking complex software/ML projects from zero to deployment with measurable business impact.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Agentic Frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks like LangChain, Strands, or AWS Agent Core.
- RAG Systems: Practical experience building and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures and vector search.
- Financial Domain Knowledge: Background building predictive models or data platforms within Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Modern Developer Tooling: Proficiency with AI-assisted workflow tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and a habit of reading/applying recent research papers.
- Personal Projects: Active GitHub repos or personal projects demonstrating technical curiosity in the GenAI/ML space.
