The Python Developer will join the Credit Risk team, responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust Python-based solutions to address complex business and technical challenges within a financial risk environment. The role will involve building scalable applications and data-driven solutions, working closely with business users, business analysts and fellow developers to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that enhance risk management capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive hands-on Python development experience, strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and experience working with Object-Oriented Database Management Systems. They should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in an Agile development environment is advantageous, alongside familiarity with collaborative tools such as JIRA and Confluence. A meticulous, detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to take ownership of development tasks and deliver high-quality, reliable solutions, is essential.
