Modern Workplace Manager - Dublin
About the role
An established, growing organisation in Ireland is seeking a Modern Workplace Manager to lead and expand its workplace technology and AI advisory practice. This strategic role blends hands-on Microsoft expertise with team leadership and commercial focus. You will guide an experienced consulting team, serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior external stakeholders, drive practical AI and collaboration adoption, and help shape commercial offerings in a fast-evolving market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Practice & Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and grow a team of workplace specialists, defining quality benchmarks, best practices, and delivery methodologies.
- AI & Automation Strategy: Develop actionable AI adoption initiatives, helping organisations implement practical use cases for Microsoft Copilot and cloud AI with proper governance and security.
- Client Advisory & Consulting: Facilitate discovery sessions, architectural roadmaps, and digital workplace transformation projects for diverse organisations.
- Commercial & Bid Enablement: Collaborate with commercial teams on proposals, solution scoping, and presentations to uncover and secure new opportunities.
- Solution Governance: Oversee design and delivery across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, identity frameworks, and collaboration tools.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the practice through webinars, industry discussions, and partner channels to drive technical credibility.
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in Microsoft Modern Workplace consulting or equivalent industry experience
- Proven track record leading customer-facing Microsoft 365 transformation projects
- Experience building, managing, or mentoring technical consulting teams
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting pre-sales and bid responses
- Deep technical familiarity across M365, Power Platform, Entra ID, and emerging Microsoft AI tools (Copilot, Azure AI)
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation skills
Nice to Have:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., M365 Enterprise Administrator, Power Platform, Azure AI)
- Prior experience within an MSP or professional services environment
- Public speaking experience at industry events or partner forums
