Project - Chemical Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to drive capital projects from initial concept through to final commissioning within a global, safety-critical organization.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring engineering solutions are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage the development and handover of systems, from URS preparation and scoping to final site commissioning and operational ramp-up.
• Design & Risk Management: Lead cross-functional SMEs and design consultants through HAZOP, SIL reviews, and design risk assessments.
• Project Controls: Own the project schedule and CAPEX budget, ensuring meticulous tracking and risk mitigation.
• Contractor Leadership: Interface with and direct contractors during the construction and installation phases, maintaining rigorous safety standards on-site.

Candidate Profile

• We are looking for a technically proficient leader with a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise.
• Education: Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proven success within the chemical or food & beverage sectors.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in P&ID development, cost estimation, and managing engineering design consultants.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in an industrial setting.
