Our client, one of the country's leading financial institutions, are seeking to add an experienced and commercially minded Product Manager to support the growth and development of our Current/Deposit Account proposition. This role will play a key part in delivering strong customer and commercial outcomes while shaping the future direction of the product.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, deliver, and continuously improve product features, ensuring the right balance between customer experience, regulatory requirements, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support profitable growth through product, pricing, proposition, and promotional initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance against financial targets and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Analyse performance data and provide actionable commercial insights.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of the Current Account customer value proposition.
- Develop customer, competitor, and market insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Act as the product lead within cross-functional change and delivery initiatives.
- Maintain ownership of product collateral and configurations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for end-to-end customer journeys and related deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Customer Experience, Digital, Technology, Analytics, Finance, and Risk.
- Support management of product-related risk and governance requirements.
- Own and prioritise the backlog for product, pricing, and proposition enhancements.
- Partner with Digital and Customer Experience teams to identify and implement improvements.
- Define business requirements and work closely with Change, Technology, and Testing teams to ensure successful delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Exposure to regulated financial services products is desirable.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret commercial performance drivers.
- Experience developing data-led recommendations and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to present ideas and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.
