    About the job

    A growing engineering and design company is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join their Production Department based in Dublin.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop NPI project plans and collaborate with stakeholders to identify resource requirements for the manufacturing processes.
    • Plan materials and resource requirements throughout the product development process.
    • Form a technical link between the design/test/production teams and external manufacturing partners.
    • Process internal information such as BOM's into a documentation package for the external manufacturing partner using internal documentation control processes.
    • Manage and oversee the transfer of products from design through to production including prototype and preseries builds.
    • Maintain product manufacturing documentation and information throughout the product life cycle.
    • Ensure effective execution of projects according to required policies, procedures and customer requirements.
    • Monitor and communicate the status of all new products by attending meetings, product development SCRUMS and updating documentation.
    • Travel to external manufacturing partner sites to support product development processes.

    Key Skills:

    • Must have experience working with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to adapt to changes.
    • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

    Desirable Skills:

    • Ideally would have experience in the Electronics industry.
    • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or equivalent.
    • Previous ISO experience an advantage

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Must hold a Degree in Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years relevant experience, manufacturing industry experience desirable.
    • Full clean driver's license and own vehicle
