    Our client is currently looking for dedicated Museum Security Officers (MSOs) to become part of their Operations Department team on a temporary contract.

    This is a brilliant chance to contribute to a globally renowned cultural institution while actively safeguarding the premises, invaluable collections, staff, and every visitor.

    As a Museum Security Officer, you will be the primary point of security contact, maintaining a visible and professional presence across all public and exhibition spaces. Your contribution is vital to security operations, incident management, and cultivating an outstanding and safe visitor journey.

    Location: Dublin City Centre

    Contract: ASAP until March 2026

    Key Responsiblitlies:

    • Delivering security coverage and close surveillance within the front-of-house areas of the Gallery.
    • Identifying and formally documenting all safety, fire, or security-related incidents.
    • Providing support during inquiries concerning any loss or damage to property.
    • Assisting in the execution and maintenance of the Gallery's Safety and Security Management Protocols.
    • Providing informative, polite assistance to visitors regarding the facilities, current exhibitions, and scheduled events.
    • Ensuring strict compliance with all Gallery protocols, guidelines, and instructions.
    • Undertaking additional duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor.

    Key Requirements & Proficiencies:

    • A minimum of one year's proven experience in a role involving front-of-house, customer service, or security responsibilities.
    • Practical experience operating safety, fire prevention, and security apparatus.
    • Functional familiarity with basic IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).
    • Exceptional verbal communication and highly developed interpersonal abilities.
    • Proven capacity to stay composed and make clear, rational decisions during unexpected or urgent situations.
    • A resourceful and adaptable mindset, coupled with the capability to perform effectively both autonomously and collaboratively
