Job Title: Medical Receptionist (Part-Time)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Medical Receptionist to join our client's medical practice in Dublin 4. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the front desk and providing efficient administrative support to our clinical staff. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a key role in managing the practice's patient services.
Duties of the Role:
- Patient Correspondence: Manage all incoming and outgoing email correspondence professionally and promptly.
- Phone Management: Act as the first point of contact for phone queries, handling patient enquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently book and manage appointments with consultants, ensuring diaries are accurately maintained.
- Financial Administration: Process patient payments accurately and maintain records.
- Administrative Support: Utilise MS Office suite and the Socrates practice management system to update patient files, generate reports, and assist with general office administration.
Profile / Experience Required:
- System Proficiency: A strong working knowledge of MS Office and knowledge of patient management systems an advantage.
- Professionalism: Strong communication skills with a compassionate and professional telephone manner.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Initiative: A proactive approach to work with the ability to work independently and on own initiative to ensure the practice runs efficiently.
