Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Project Manager to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of a major infrastructure upgrade in Dublin. This role involves managing the entire project or specific segments of it, ensuring high-quality M&E systems are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project goals, timelines, costs, and resource requirements.
- Maintain regular progress reports and effective stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with M&E standards, safety codes, and regulations.
- Manage contracts and negotiate changes with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Direct and supervise on-site workers.
- Select, contract, and oversee project-specific workers.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress reports.
- Implement quality control programs.
- Prepare final project reports, as-built documentation, and health and safety documents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with significant experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record managing contracts with a minimum value of €20m.
- Ability to work independently, lead teams, and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
