The Role:
Our client is seeking a high-impact Marketing Manager to join their Marketing and Customer Insights team. This senior role will be instrumental in shaping perceptions of the brand, developing integrated marketing strategies, and driving engagement across multiple business areas including Corporate, Generation & Trading, e-Mobility, and People & Sustainability.
As a key member of the Marketing and Customer Insights Leadership Team, the successful candidate will lead a team of marketers, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business goals and brand purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, trust, and alignment with the organisation's sustainability vision.
Lead marketing activity across multiple business areas, ensuring strategic consistency and measurable outcomes.
Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of marketers.
Review and optimise ways of working across the marketing function to ensure best practice, collaboration, and efficiency.
Manage event strategies for customers, stakeholders, and industry engagement, ensuring alignment with sponsorships and brand objectives.
Manage and optimise the marketing budget across business units, driving value, transparency, and performance.
Deliver quarterly reports on marketing performance, insights, and impact.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Third-level qualification in Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior marketing management roles.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans that deliver measurable results.
Experience leading high-performing teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Understanding of sustainability communications and behavioural change marketing principles.
Collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented, with strong organisational skills.
Desirable:
Experience working within a complex or regulated environment.
Knowledge of the energy, utilities, or sustainability sectors.
