We have a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Public Sector client on a 6 month temporary assignment in Dublin 6. Whether you're planning to travel in the New Year, between roles, or looking to broaden your experience in a new sector, this short-term contract could be ideal. You'll be joining a fantastic organisation known for its meaningful work and welcoming company culture. Due to a busy period our clients are looking for someone to join as soon as possible within the next few weeks to support there existing finance time during a busy period, this will be a temporary assignment for 6 Months, hybrid working included, pension benefits, flextime and a 35hr working week alongside a competitive base salary. Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and present monthly management accounts.
- Create monthly forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Draft explanations for any deviations from the budget.
- Coordinate year-end procedures, workload planning, and related activities.
- Generate monthly financial statements and various returns for the HSE.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are maintained and reconciled monthly.
- Collaborate with functional managers to provide financial context.
- Work with functional managers on budget development
Key Requirements:
- CPA, CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified accountant
- Experience in management accounts or similar finance-related tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Strong IT proficiency
- Quick learner who is adaptable to change
