Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Pensions Consultant to join their Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with pensions, financial services, or employee benefits experience who enjoys presenting, building relationships, and helping individuals understand their retirement options.
This is a target-driven role focused on member engagement, pension education, and promoting pension-related benefits. The successful candidate will work closely with pension scheme members, delivering presentations and providing guidance on pension benefits and retirement planning.
Skills & Experience
- QFA qualified all the equivalent
- Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex information in a simple and engaging way.
- Experience within pensions, financial services, employee benefits, or a related sector.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to pension scheme members, both in person and online.
- Explain pension benefits, retirement options, and scheme features in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
- Support member engagement initiatives across a range of pension schemes.
- Respond to member queries and provide guidance following presentations and events.
- Promote Additional Voluntary Contributions and encourage member participation where appropriate.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure communications are accurate and consistent.
- Adapt presentations and messaging to suit different audiences and member groups.
- Assist with the creation and development of presentation materials and member communications.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation, industry developments, and scheme rules.
- Achieve activity and engagement targets set by the Business Development team.
