Role: IT & Digital Business Analyst

Role Type: Fixed term contract (12 months)

Location: Dublin City Centre

Hybrid: 2 days a week onsite

Salary: €70,000 - €82,000

Role Description

Our client is looking to add to their existing IT & Digital team. This team is responsible for developing and delivering the IT & Digital Strategy required by the business to support the strategic objectives of the business, and to manage implementations in a cost-effective and value-driven manner.

The current IT & Digital landscape for the business includes a complex suite of applications to participate in the Irish and UK markets. Support and development for the current application suite is managed in close partnership with the Enterprise Services team.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include:

• Ensure that IT Projects for the business units are correctly prioritised, supported with appropriate business cases and that funding and delivery resources are in place
• Oversee the delivery of IT Projects for the business units and provide escalation paths to ensure resolution of issues affecting project delivery
• Input to the overall Digital Strategy for the business units to ensure alignment with the strategic direction of the business and ensure consistency with the Group's overall Digital Strategy.
• Manage the delivery of Digital Products for the business in close collaboration with the CIO & Digital Factory, including their ongoing development and support
• Facilitate the IT delivery of new features and system updates
• Monitor the effectiveness of production support for applications & infrastructure, and proactively ensure remediation where needed
• Participate in the IT & Digital Governance structures as required to support the business.
• Provide strong stakeholder engagement with the business to ensure IT & Digital delivery is working effectively and is aligned with business need
• Ensure close collaboration with the relevant CIO and IT Delivery teams required to support the needs of Trading

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience is essential
• Effective team player across all levels within the organisation
• Strong stakeholder management
• Experience with technology and how it can enable business value
• A proven track record of delivery
• Self-motivator and problem solver
• Excellent communications, facilitation & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Knowledge of the Generation & Trading Business would be helpful
• Knowledge and experience of enterprise-wide technologies and infrastructure employed across the company
• Knowledge of Digital & Cyber Security Technologies

Qualifications

• A recognised third level qualification in an IT/Computer Science or Business discipline, or equivalent work experience is essential.
