Role Title: HR Business Partner
Location: North Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid / Office-based with local site travel)
About the Business
We are partnering exclusively with a major Irish commercial leader operating in the fast-paced FMCG sector. This organization retains a down-to-earth, genuine culture while undergoing a significant period of strategic expansion and modernization.
To support this growth, the organization is building a modern, strategic HR function from the ground up. We are seeking a proactive, commercial HR Business Partner (or a high-performing Senior HR Generalist ready for the next step) to drive people initiatives across a fast-paced operational environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will take full ownership of a dedicated business unit, partnering closely with commercial, finance, and operational leaders. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role where you will embed new HR frameworks, shape organizational strategy, and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
- Drive Strategic HR Transformation: Transition the business from traditional HR administration to a proactive, value-add partnership model.
- Employee Relations & Change Management: Lead organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiatives while embedding best-practice HR policies across multiple sites.
- Commercial Partnering: Build compelling business cases for people initiatives, demonstrating clear financial and operational ROI.
- Talent & Performance: Implement robust performance management, talent development, and manager-coaching strategies to build capability and support retention.
- Cross-Jurisdictional Exposure: Provide advice across Irish sites, with additional oversight supporting operations in Northern Ireland.
Who We Are Looking For
- Background: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist within a fast-paced, high-volume environment (FMCG, Retail, Food Production, Manufacturing, Logistics or Supply Chain).
- Employee Relations Expertise: Heavyweight experience in complex ER, restructuring, and change management. Experience navigating non-unionized environments is essential.
- Commercial & Financial Acumen: Comfortable with numbers, understanding labor costs, and articulating the commercial impact of HR strategies.
- Mindset: Highly autonomous, resilient, and adaptable with a "go-getter" attitude. You thrive in a hands-on, fast-moving, operational setting.
- Cross-Border Knowledge: Experience with Northern Ireland employment law is a strong advantage.
- Mobility: Based in Dublin with the flexibility to travel to operational sites when required for key ER or change projects.
