An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced treasury leader to join a large, complex organisation during a significant period of growth and investment.
Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will lead the treasury function, overseeing funding strategy, liquidity, capital markets activity, investor and lender relationships, financial risk management, and treasury operations. This role will play a key part in supporting major capital investment programmes and long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's treasury strategy, funding, and liquidity management.
- Manage relationships with lenders, investors, banks, and external stakeholders.
- Support debt capital market activities, financing initiatives, and credit rating processes.
- Oversee cash management, financial risk, hedging, and working capital optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, financial regulations, and governance requirements.
- Provide strategic treasury advice to senior leadership and the Board.
- Lead and develop a high-performing treasury team.
- Oversee treasury operations, debt facilities, and corporate financing activities.
- Support tax strategy and treasury-related financial reporting.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' treasury experience, including significant leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of treasury management, corporate finance, debt capital markets, and financial risk.
- Experience managing banking relationships, funding strategies, and liquidity planning.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Professional treasury qualifications (ACT, CFA or equivalent) and tax experience are advantageous.
