Fleet Sales Coordinator | 24 month FTC | Dublin / hybrid
The Fleet Sales Coordinator is primarily concerned with risk management and the governance of the company's vehicle assets. The primary objective is to ensure the prompt and profitable disposal of ex-leasing, retail, and company vehicles, in line with the company's overall strategic objectives.
You will be responsible for executing the strategy for remarketing end-of-life vehicle inventory.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a positive attitude, high work ethic, knowledge of the market and vehicles, an in-depth understanding of the sales department and processes, and strong customer relations skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Used Car remarketing co-ordination
- Preparing remarketing valuations and reserves calculations for approval using market research and vehicle inspection reports, adhering to agreed SLAs.
- Analysing and reporting on all aspects of the remarketing department for senior management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for monthly remarketing KPI reporting and presentations for the Direct Fleet department.
- Ensuring that the remarketing database is kept up to date with all relevant information.
- Ensuring vehicles are sold in compliance with company remarketing guidelines.
- Managing the fair wear and tear and excess mileage process with fleet and sales teams.
- Handling the remarketing invoicing process, including the processing of supplier invoices and issuing of vehicle sales invoices.
- Assisting with internal and external audits by providing all relevant information and support as required.
- Providing support and cover for other team members and administrative duties as required.
- Developing and improving existing remarketing processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Developing and updating remarketing process documentation as required.
- Project management, change requests, and testing.
- Raising and documenting system changes to improve processes.
Key Working Relationships:
- Head of Department: Direct reporting, seek pricing approvals (Daily)
- Third-Party Providers: Stock management, disposal, and invoicing (Daily)
- Direct Fleet Team / Sales Team: Report remarketing figures, agree on fair wear and tear and excess mileage charges, agree on process changes, and arrange vehicle inspections/collection (Daily)
- Leasing Operations Teams: Ensure the termination process is correctly implemented (Daily)
- Collections Team: Processing requests for vehicle collection (Daily/Weekly)
Qualifications:
- 3rd level qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in the auto finance or leasing industry (Desirable).:
- Working knowledge of trade used car sales (advantageous).
- Proven skills in analysing large amounts of data.
