The organisation is undertaking a significant finance transformation programme, consolidating multiple existing finance systems into a single, unified platform. As Finance Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving the successful delivery of this programme, overseeing project delivery across planning, design, implementation, and change management.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a new finance system implementation, ensuring the programme is delivered on time, on budget, and in line with strategic objectives.
Coordinate across internal finance, technology, and operational teams, as well as external system providers and implementation partners.
Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables; monitor and report on progress.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls.
Ensure the new solution supports a modern finance operating model, providing a "single source of truth" for the organisation's financial data.
Support future growth by embedding best-practice finance processes and automation opportunities.
Ensure appropriate controls and governance frameworks are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee readiness activities, including user training, data migration, testing, and post-go-live support.
Demonstrated experience managing complex finance system or ERP implementations (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.).
Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of core finance processes and systems, with an emphasis on controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Ability to coordinate across functions, manage external vendors, and influence senior stakeholders.
Experience delivering technology-enabled transformation programmes in large or complex environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in a public sector, regulatory, or service-based environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based finance solutions and automated reconciliation tools.
Background in centralising or modernising finance operations within a shared services or enterprise environment.
