We are currently recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation based in South Dublin for the position of Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working as part of a dynamic and supportive team, the Finance Manager will take a leading role in the preparation of month-end management accounts and overseeing the month-end close process.
This position is located in Tallaght and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week required onsite and three days working remotely. Salary: €58,264.00
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of month-end management accounts using Exchequer Software, including journal entry postings and account reconciliations
Monthly income reconciliations between the claims platform and finance system
Oversight of transactions processed through the solicitor portal
Compilation of monthly debtor reports
Preparation and submission of VAT and PSWT returns
Preparation of pension deduction reports for the parent department
Production of monthly cash flow statements
Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
Key Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of three year's post-qualification experience
Proficient in financial systems and strong IT skills
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards
Previous experience in the public sector would be advantageous
