    Excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join an industry leading business in the motor industry.

    Reporting to the Finance Director, you will with the leadership team to provide tactical and strategic financial insights and guidance for a key division within the organisation. You will provide tactical and strategic financial insights and guidance to the business and its leaders. As the successful applicant you will play a key role in shaping growth, decision-making, and contribute to the overall financial success of the organisation.

    This is an excellent role if you enjoy working in a commercial environment and are strong at building relationships with stakeholders across a business, while supporting and challenging them in equal measure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform month-end accounts preparation and closing activities and provide insightful analysis and commentary
    • Manage cashflow for the retail division
    • Understand retail margins and identify opportunities for improvements
    • Become a SME on your division and present analysis, provide insight, and make recommendations for future strategies for the division
    • Work closely with the Finance Director and operations to prepare budgets and forecasts for the division while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic direction.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to drive the efficiency by challenging existing methods and implement cost savings whenever possible.
    • Provide general support to leadership across the division to enable growth

    Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified accountant with experience working in the motor trade.
    • Experience of of Keyloop (Kerridge/ADP) dealer management system is desirable.
    • Strong communicator with the ability to act as a business partner between Finance and the operational and sales teams.
    • Ability to work on a tactical and strategic level. Proven financial acumen and analytical mindset.
    • Commercially aware, with the ability to provide financial insights to drive business growth.
    • Highly analytical and numerical with excellent attention to detail.
