Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts for multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances where required.
- Assist in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Support the conversion of internal reporting balances to local statutory reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments including payroll, tax, legal, and treasury to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Liaise with external service providers where required for finance-related activities across different jurisdictions.
- Prepare and submit indirect tax filings such as VAT and other regulatory reports where applicable.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Participate in finance-related projects and other ad hoc assignments.
Requirements
- Professionally qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Experience working within a multinational or multi-entity accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP accounting systems and financial reconciliation tools is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
