We are collaborating with a number of prominent law firms across Ireland, seeking to add to their Employment Practices. These firms provide strategic, practical, and commercially focused advice on a broad range of employment law issues, both contentious and non-contentious, to international and domestic clients across various sectors including technology, financial services, and pharmaceuticals. The work includes advising on strategic and business-critical matters, defending contentious employment litigation, and guiding all employment aspects of commercial transactions and internal grievance and disciplinary processes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire Associates / Senior Associates to support their expanding teams in Dublin and Cork.
About the Role:
As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will collaborate with Senior Associates and Partners on complex and novel employment law matters for major international and domestic employers, working in a flexible and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of multi-disciplinary specialist teams on high-value and business-critical client projects.
- Advise on a wide range of employment issues including managing dismissals, defending High Court injunctions and WRC claims, workforce restructuring, discrimination, workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, performance management, enforceability of post-termination restrictive covenants, employment financial services regulatory issues, gender pay gap compliance, managing sickness absence, and other day-to-day employment issues.
- Gain experience in client advisory and litigation matters before the WRC and the High Court, working closely with Senior Associates and Partners.
- Support key client and regulatory investigation projects, particularly in the tech and financial service sectors.
- Assist Partners in driving thought leadership in employment law, including gender pay reporting, the future of work, workplace culture, and senior executive accountability in regulated sectors.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong academic track record and experience in employment law.
