The Digital Strategy Manager leads the development and delivery of the organisation's digital strategy across web and social platforms, ensuring a high-quality, user-focused customer experience.
Reporting to the Head of Brand, Marketing & Digital, this role oversees digital performance, drives innovation, and manages a team responsible for high-traffic digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver digital strategy aligned with organisational objectives
- Lead development and optimisation of website and social media platforms
- Use analytics and insights to improve performance and inform decisions
- Oversee content strategy, publishing, and channel management
- Ensure accessible, compliant, and user-centric digital services
- Manage social media engagement, moderation, and escalation
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure alignment with governance, security, and organisational standards
- Identify and implement emerging technologies, including AI tools
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Significant experience in digital communications, web, and social media management
- Proven ability to deliver digital strategy for large-scale platforms
- Strong understanding of UX, content strategy, and digital service delivery
- Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders
- Strong writing, governance, and analytics skills
- Experience with CMS and digital publishing workflows
