    Corporate Actions Analyst

    We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Actions Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of operational processes within asset servicing and corporate actions.

    The Role

    This position requires a solid knowledge of the processes, procedures and systems used to carry out assigned tasks, along with a good understanding of the underlying principles of asset servicing. You will work collaboratively within a wider operations team, making evaluative judgements based on factual analysis and resolving issues through the application of technical experience and established precedents.

    You will be expected to communicate clearly and concisely with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to control standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Reconcile and process positions related to corporate action events

    • Review communications and notifications relating to corporate actions

    • Facilitate postings associated with corporate action events

    • Support a range of products, services and projects in line with established procedures

    • Perform routine operational tasks, including analysis, report preparation and issue resolution

    • Process multiple transactions of moderate complexity

    • Apply data analysis techniques to identify process improvements and support project implementation

    • Interpret data and contribute to recommendations for process enhancements, new products/services and platform upgrades

    • Minimise risk by adhering to procedural requirements, audit standards and control policies

    • Monitor and analyse errors, recommending solutions to reduce risk and improve accuracy

    • Identify policy gaps and suggest improvements to streamline processes

    • Escalate requests, enquiries and issues in a timely manner

    • Develop a strong understanding of products, processes and relevant industry standards

    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, communicating potentially complex or sensitive information clearly

    About You

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    • Relevant experience within asset servicing, corporate actions or financial services operations

    • Sound understanding of investment instruments including equities, fixed income and asset-backed securities

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Access desirable)

    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

    • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills

    • Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team

    • Demonstrates growing ownership and accountability in their role
