Claims Handler (FNOL)

My client, a multiline insurance company, is looking for a First Notification of Loss Claims Handler. This role is based in South Dublin and operates on a hybrid model. You must be APA qualified at a min.

To be successful you must have:

• 1-2 years' First Notification of Loss (FNOL) claims handling experience.

• APA qualified or grandfathered (CIP in progress preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily claims: post, notifications, processing, and phone calls.

• Log claims, reserve amendments, and payments in the system by month end.

• Assist with month-end insurer reports and audits.

• Appoint repairers, adjusters, engineers, and other experts when needed.

• Aim for early claim settlement (without legal involvement where possible).

• Ensure compliance with insurance binders, claims authority, CPC, PIAB, and motor legislation.

• Provide excellent service to customers, brokers, and third parties.

• Support settlement negotiations and insurer reporting when required.

• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.
