Capex Accountant Governance & Budgeting Manager

Seeking an experienced Capex Accountant to support capital project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while ensuring compliance and effective stakeholder engagement.
Core Duties:

Partner with internal teams to manage capital investments, budgets, variances, and risk.

Support procurement in project cost evaluations.

Maintain and enhance Capex policies, SOPs, and procedures in line with compliance standards.

Oversee asset register, verifications, and disposals in collaboration with the GL team.

Assist with internal/external audits and capex-related committee preparations.

Contribute to systems/process improvements (e.g., SAP) for efficiency and compliance.

Deliver timely financial, reconciliation, and compliance reporting.

Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (e.g., Climate Action, Public Spending Code, EU Taxonomy).
Skills & Experience:

Qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE in capital investment and financial reporting.

Strong analytical, appraisal, and Excel skills.

Experience in SAP and familiarity with relevant legislative frameworks.

Background in project/process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
