Our client, an industry leading motor finance provider, are seeking to add a motivated Business Development Manager to drive new business growth within the fleet and vehicle leasing sector. This is a hunter role focused on identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business within the SME and corporate markets.
- Build and manage a self-generated sales pipeline.
- Develop prospecting strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and tender responses.
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in business development and outbound sales.
- Experience in fleet, leasing, automotive, or a related B2B industry is desirable.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience responding to tenders is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant industry qualifications or willingness to obtain them may be required.
