A bit about your new role
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, including invoice verification, supplier reconciliations, and payment execution. Additionally, it involves managing supplier data, resolving queries, and supporting financial controls within the company's financial systems.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process and verify purchase and non-purchase order invoices, through the Procurement Portal, and SAP
- Ensure accurate matching of invoices to purchase orders and appropriate departmental approvals.
- Execute timely processing of high volumes of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Perform monthly and annual suppliers accounts reconciliations.
- Manage supplier master data setup and updates through the Procurement Portal
- Handle and resolve suppliers and internal queries efficiently and courteously.
- Support the development and implementation of financial controls, i.e. perform monthly reconciliations of Accounts Payables General Ledger Accounts and clear/close outstanding open items posting journal entries.
- Review and approve Travel Expenses for compliance with company Travel Policy.
- Process monthly supplier, intercompany, and ad-hoc payments, including business Travel Expenses.
- Maintain employee details within the company Travelling Tool and create Assets/Orders in SAP
Person Specification & Qualification:
- Minimum of 2 to 6 years relevant Accounts Payable experience within a medium to large organisation
- SAP experience or similar ERP system experience is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of conscientiousness and commitment to operational effectiveness.
- Demonstrated flexibility and strong teamwork capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, especially for interactions with suppliers.
