Internal Sales Account Manager

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an Internal Sales Account Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a successful career in account management, with clear progression into field sales or senior relationship management.
Working as part of a high-performing sales team, you'll support a portfolio of business partners while collaborating closely with external Account Managers. You'll play a key role in strengthening client relationships, driving engagement and helping to deliver commercial growth through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners through regular phone, email and video communication.
Support external Account Managers by managing sales activity, following up on opportunities and maintaining client engagement.
Become the first point of contact for partner queries relating to products, systems and processes.
Deliver structured outbound call campaigns to increase engagement and identify new business opportunities.
Assist with onboarding new partners and supporting ongoing relationship development.
Coordinate and support training sessions, product updates and system enhancements.
Prepare sales reports, account updates and pipeline information to support business development activity.
Accurately record customer interactions and opportunities using CRM systems.
Work collaboratively across internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Contribute to achieving team sales targets and business objectives.
You'll be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and thrives in a customer-focused sales environment.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in internal sales, account management, customer service or business development.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
A proactive approach with the confidence to make outbound calls and develop client relationships.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
A commercial mindset with an interest in sales and financial services.
High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
Financial services
Asset finance or lending
Banking or insurance
Automotive or motor industry
Dealer or broker relationship management
Supporting field-based sales teams
CRM platforms such as Salesforce
Professional qualifications such as APA, QFA or CIP are beneficial but not essential. Full support will be provided to obtain relevant industry qualifications where required.
