This is a great opportunity for someone with little to no experience who wants a long-term career in finance and to work for a big name in the legal sector.
This role sits within a growing finance function, who are pivotal to the firm's success. In addition to managing the finances of the business, they also deal with the Financial transactions of their clients. Using a built for purpose software, they work closely with lawyers, partners & colleagues across the business services team to ensure smooth running of the firm's finances, helping to inform financial decision making.
What will you be doing?
- Managing electronic payments, including CHAPS, BACS, Faster payments & international payments
- Inputting receipts from client accounts, including receipts for payments of invoices
- Downloading bank information for importing of client monies
- Dealing with general queries sent to the finance team
- Assistance with monthly invoicing cycles
What are we looking for?
- Experience in an administrative role/office environment
- Effective communicator, both written & verbal
- Competent with MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good level of basic education (grade C or above in Maths & English at GCSE level
