    About the Role:

    We are seeking to engage a Senior Administrator to join our highly collaborative and close-knit team of nine, supporting our Consultants and Research teams within Morgan McKinley Executive Search.

    This Senior Administrator role is a newly created role born out of our significantly growing business and will be essential to our future success. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to collaborate with executive stakeholders. We are looking for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of their work. 

    You will enhance the delivery of projects and keep our operations running smoothly. While the list of activities below provides a good flavour of the day-to-day work involved, it is not exhaustive. Essentially, you will be the backbone of our delivery success, managing everything from complex diary coordination and strategic documentation to candidate outreach and research support.

    A key ingredient for success in the role will be the development of an administrative pipeline prioritisation system, which you will develop, agree and embed with the team. While you will support the entire team, you will report day-to-day to our Research Partner.
    Primary Responsibilities:
    Responsibilities will be broad and will include (but not be limited to) the following:

    Search project management & support

    • Documentation and Presentation Support:
    • Collaborating with consultants, researchers, and others to produce high-quality and detailed reports and presentations.
    • Preparing candidate profiles.
    • Preparing role briefs.
    • Candidate Outreach: 
    • Making the initial approach to candidates in our search pipeline.
    • Performing timely follow-ups to keep the candidate pipeline moving.
    • Chasing any required documents from candidates.
    • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Managing scheduling, including all correspondence (emailing schedules, calendar placeholders, confirmation emails/directions) for:
    • Candidate screening scheduling for the internal team.
    • Scheduling update meetings with the Client 

    Business development support

    • Drafting Client proposals and client pitch decks.
    • Conducting market intelligence and research projects, which may include:
    • Tracking recent senior leadership appointments across target sectors.
    • Monitoring key senior job openings.
    • Preparing lists of senior leaders within new or priority sectors.
    • Sharing relevant business news.
    • Help maintain the in-house database accurately.

    Supporting the managing partner:

    • Diary management and scheduling.
    • Organising travel and managing expenses.
    • Preparing complex documentation to demanding deadlines.

    Other administration:

    • Managing the pipeline of administrative activities; liaising with the team to establish priorities.
    • Organising and managing client events.
    • Logging and following up on Website content-related tasks.
    • Booking travel for clients and candidates as required.

    Candidate Profile & Key Competencies:
    The successful candidate should ideally possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

    • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an administrative function supporting leaders and senior professionals within Executive Search or Professional Services.
    • Confident with the gravitas to engage with our executive-level clients and candidates.
    • A good team player, client-focused with high attention to detail.
    • Excellent PowerPoint skills and high proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) as well as Google Office Suite.
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively.
    • The ability to work to short deadlines in a fast-paced environment and juggle simultaneous projects.
    • Proactive with a positive outlook and a flexible manner.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with executive stakeholders.
    • A sense of responsibility and ownership of your work.
    • Ideally, some element of customer service or client-facing experience.
    • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
