- Retail Trade Sampling: Our extensive international researcher network conducts thousands of retail audits each year in line with client standards. We also facilitate the purchase and shipment of products from markets worldwide for client evaluation and analytical testing.
- Consumer Quality Experience: Our Consumer Insights team recruits and engages consumers across the globe to understand their expectations, experiences and interactions with our clients' and competitors' products.
- Analytical, Sensory & Proficiency Services: Our specialist laboratory team works closely with Quality and Technical teams to provide analytical, sensory and proficiency services. We are one of Ireland's leading independent providers of sensory services.
We work with many of Ireland's leading food and beverage manufacturers, as well as a wide range of multinational clients.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Operations Assistant to join our expanding and progressive team based in Little Island, Cork.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our sampling, logistics and warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping and receipt of samples, ensuring weekly and monthly deadlines are consistently met.
- Unpack and check incoming deliveries, promptly identifying and escalating any potential issues.
- Complete accurate and efficient data entry using computer-based applications.
- Maintain proactive, professional and clear communication with clients.
- Follow daily, weekly and monthly schedules, ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
- Assist with regular project work as well as ad-hoc assignments.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including accepting deliveries, stock management, record keeping and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all activities.
- Follow, review and contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support other operational activities and projects as required.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm
Flexibility around these core hours will occasionally be required to meet the operational needs of the business.
