Exciting new opportunity for a Snr HR Generalist to join a global organization as they embark on their significant growth journey.
Reporting to the HR Director, the Senior HR Generalist will play a key role supporting both managers and employees across the business on all HR related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to provide guidance on workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, and change management.
- Advise on complex employee relations cases, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
- Lead on disciplinary, grievance, performance management and absence management cases.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law, GDPR, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Oversee full recruitment cycle for senior and critical roles.
- Coach hiring managers on interview techniques and selection.
- With the assistance of the HR Administrator, ensure a seamless onboarding experience, including inductions and probation reviews.
- Support talent development, succession planning and performance management processes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and track mandatory training compliance.
- Ensure accurate employee data and reporting (turnover, absence, diversity & inclusion metrics, etc.).
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Lead or support HR projects as required
- Accurately process payroll in line with internal deadlines and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years' HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in a generalist role with advisory capacity, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent desirable.
- Experience in payroll process (preferably using Sage Micropay).
