Senior Engineer / Project Manager - Consultancy
Location: Cork
We're working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Cork that is looking to appoint a Senior engineer with Project Management experience to work with one of their key developer clients.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Take charge of the full project lifecycle for a key developer client, overseeing stages from initial feasibility and planning through to final construction close-out.
- Technical Design & Management: Lead the design of site civils and utilities layouts while resolving complex technical queries throughout the construction phase.
- Planning & Compliance: Manage planning applications and ensure all project documentation and paperwork are finalized to industry standards.
- Primary Client Liaison: Act as the central point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and advising on potential project risks and roadblocks
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate efforts between internal engineering teams, external consultants, local authorities, and contractors to maintain project momentum.
- Project Controls: Ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget by proactively managing technical risks and resource allocation
The role will suit you if you have:
· Experience managing residential developments in Ireland
· A Background in engineering, construction management, or a related field
· Good knowledge of Irish planning and construction processes
· Strong communication and organisational skills
