Our client, a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their leadership team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the Quality function, ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and recognised industry standards while driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the company's Quality Control systems and procedures.
- Manage and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements and relevant quality standards.
- Lead internal and external quality audits.
- Manage customer complaints and oversee CAPA investigations and implementation.
- Monitor quality performance, analyse data and produce management reports.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a strong culture of quality, compliance and safety.
About You
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience leading audits, managing CAPAs and implementing quality improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical ability with experience producing quality reports.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma experience is advantageous.
