We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth procurement processes.
Location: Outside of Cork City - 4 days in the office and one day working from home
Duration: 11 months temporary contract
Key Responsibilities:

Process purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier invoices in SAP.

Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.

Coordinate with internal departments to support operational needs.

Communicate with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate pricing.

Generate and analyze purchasing reports to support management decisions.
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years' experience using SAP in a purchasing or procurement role.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Good communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
