Position Overview:
This role is an exciting opportunity to provide essential administrative support within our dynamic department. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Leader, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support and sales/purchase order processing across all company sales divisions.
- Verify incoming customer orders against sales quotations and policies.
- Expedite customer purchase and sales orders, coordinating effectively with supply chains.
- Manage and run regular internal and customer service-related reports as required.
- Log documentation requirements with the documentation department as necessary.
- Electronically maintain accurate and detailed records and files for customer job files.
- Take ownership of personal, departmental, and company procedures/KPIs, ensuring compliance and action where necessary.
- Meet deadlines and contribute to team and departmental targets.
- Adhere to ISO 9000 Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
- Collaborate with all divisions and departments, as well as cross-functional teams, to build strong, effective relationships.
- Perform other related duties as necessary to support the business.
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS 365, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- A dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement.
