OpEx Specialist

Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer in Ireland, are seeking to hire an Operational Excellence Specialist for their Cork site.

We are delighted to partner with this manufacturing leader as they grow their team in Cork. They are now seeking to hire an OpEx Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, as OpEx Specialist you will be responsible for the daily leadership and management of department OpEx activities and projects across various production teams in line with strategic KPIs. Strong experience leading diverse teams and projects in a fast-paced, regulated / GMP environment would be essential to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively mentoring and coaching department staff, ensuring efficient daily processes are activated for respective projects.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Effectively manage and report on projects to site leadership.
• Effectively use relevant technologies to assist continuous improvement projects.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in operational excellence roles, ideally from pharma or medical device industries.
• Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues in operational excellence.
• Strong track record of Lean/Continuous Improvement practices.
• Relevant education and lean qualifications.
• Proven planning and technical skills.
