    One of Ireland's largest and most respected main contractors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Services Co-Ordinator to join its Cork-based team. This is a key position within the project delivery team, working across a portfolio of marquee retrofit, commercial, and high-rise residential developments in Cork City.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a driven mechanical professional who thrives in a fast-paced main contractor environment and has strong experience coordinating complex building services packages.

    Job Title: Mechanical Services Co-Ordinator

    Location: Cork City, Ireland

    Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 + Company Vehicle + 10% Pension + Company Bonus

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate all mechanical building services activities on site from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover
    • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
    • Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to ensure smooth project delivery
    • Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards
    • Manage procurement schedules and track mechanical package progress against programme
    • Attend coordination meetings and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
    • Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 7 years' experience in mechanical building services within the construction industry
    • Proven experience working on commercial, industrial, or pharmaceutical construction projects (essential)
    • Experience working with a main contractor or large-scale M&E subcontractor
    • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, pipework, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project timelines
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills
    • Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
