About the Role:
We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Building Services Coordinator to join a leading M&E contractor in Cork. The successful candidate will coordinate mechanical and electrical services across complex construction projects from early design through to commissioning and handover. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in MEP coordination and an electrical installation or design background.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all stages of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services delivery from design through construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Manage BIM models, design information, technical submissions, and approvals in line with project programmes.

Liaise with design teams, specialist subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow.

Monitor site installations, chair coordination meetings, and track design changes to ensure compliance with specifications and H&S standards.

Support BCAR documentation, system testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.

Provide regular updates to the project team on M&E progress and any issues affecting timelines or quality.
Candidate Requirements:

2-5 years' experience in MEP coordination or a similar building services role.

Background in electrical installation or design.

Experience reviewing and working with BIM models.

Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Full driver's license.

Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight project deadlines.
