We are working with a busy construction firm looking for a highly capable Front of House Administrator to join their close-knit office team on an interim basis. This is a pivotal role where you will be working directly with the Managing Director to keep projects moving from tender to completion.
Location: Ballincollig
Contract duration: 5 weeks approx.
Hourly pay rate: dependent on experience
Fully onsite role, 9.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
The Role Working in a fast-paced environment, your day-to-day will involve a variety of tastks to keep the business running smoothly:
- Managing the MD's diary, arranging travel logistics, and coordinating meeting schedules.
- Handling a busy email inbox and being the professional first point of contact for telephone queries.
- Looking after construction-specific documentation, including printing, filing, and distributing site drawings and maps.
- Supporting the business by creating tender packages and submitting planning documentation for approval.
- Sourcing quotes from suppliers, ordering materials, and maintaining organized project files.
- Recording and distributing meeting minutes, typing up formal letters, and handling invoicing.
- General administrative support to ensure the office stays organized and efficient.
What You'll Need
- Solid experience in a busy administrative role, with any previous construction or site-based experience being a significant advantage.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with strong Excel skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with everyone from site teams to clients.
- A proactive, "can-do" approach to a variety of tasks.
