My client, an ambitious and expanding Irish business based in Cork, looking for an exceptional Finance and Business Operations Administrator to become a key member of their team.
This is not a traditional Finance Administration role. It is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, improving processes and helping a business operate more efficiently.
Working closely with the business owner, you will oversee the day-to-day operational administration of the business while providing commercial support across a variety of functions. You'll be trusted to identify opportunities for improvement, solve problems before they arise and create the structure that allows the business to continue growing.
This role is based on site 5 days a week - flexible start times.
Requirements:
- Manage the day-to-day administration and operational support of the business.
- Prepare quotations, contracts and commercial documentation.
- Coordinate purchasing, suppliers and general office administration.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and ready for the accounts function.
- Managing stock administration, maintaining accurate stock records and pricing through the EPOS system.
- Carrying out regular stock checks, investigating discrepancies and ensuring robust stock control procedures are followed.
- Continually review and improve office systems, processes and efficiencies.
- Providing operational support to the management team, helping to streamline day-to-day activities and improve business performance.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a similar Office based role.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines.
- A commercial mindset with the confidence to identify issues, solve problems and improve processes.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- A calm, proactive and professional approach.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.
