Experienced Finance Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for in the Fermoy area!

If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper/Accountant looking for a rewarding new position this could be the one. This is the ideal position for a finance professional that has had similar experience in the past and is looking for a new challenge where you will be supported to grow within the business.

Responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Generating payment runs & allocation of payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Supplier account reconciliations
• Preparing weekly management reports - cashflows, gross profit calculations, KPI reports, etc
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts monthly
• VAT &, PAYE/PRSI returns
• Liaising with external auditors in relation to statutory accounts

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience working within a similar role - 5 years minimum
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet weekly/monthly deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
