Administrator (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract, Immediate Start)
Salary: €25,000-€27,000
Location: Corkcity (onsite with free parking)
Working Pattern: 4-day week (Tuesday-Friday), 9:00am-5:00pm
An established organisation within the engineering sector is seeking an experienced Administrator to join its busy operations team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role supporting a team of field engineers who provide essential services to healthcare clients. Accuracy, organisation and excellent communication are key, as the work directly supports the delivery of critical equipment and services.
You will be responsible for coordinating engineer schedules, managing customer queries, maintaining accurate system records and supporting the day-to-day administration of service operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Scheduling and allocating service calls for field engineers
Liaising with engineers to ensure service response times are achieved
Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
Maintaining accurate records using internal systems
Purchasing and coordinating spare parts
Managing supplier quotations, warranty claims and parts returns
Raising customer quotations and processing invoices
Supporting engineers with parts identification and supplier queries
Creating and maintaining part codes and stock records
Producing reports and ensuring service standards and SLAs are consistently met
Working closely with internal departments to resolve operational issues
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
At least 2 years' administration or customer service experience in a busy environment
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
A professional and confident telephone manner
Experience using CRM business systems (SAP experience is an advantage)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A collaborative approach with the confidence to build relationships across teams
Experience within healthcare, engineering, logistics or service coordination would be beneficial but is not essential.
