The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of this landmark education project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Working alongside an experienced site team, design consultants, and senior management, you'll play a key role in delivering a project that will have a lasting impact on the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale school construction project from start to completion.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate site management teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with project specifications.
- Monitor programme, budget, quality, and project performance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams, and key stakeholders.
- Drive Health & Safety standards across the project.
- Identify and resolve project risks while maintaining programme milestones.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Requirements
You'll ideally have:
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience managing large-scale construction projects for a main contractor.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness and programme management experience.
- A thorough understanding of Irish building regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Experience delivering education, residential, commercial, or public sector projects is highly desirable.
