Experienced Administrator - Medical Setting 
Location: Cork City centre
Contract: 6-Month Temporary Contract
Start Date: Early October
Pay Rate: €17.04 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Rota Basis (8:00-16:30 or 9:00-17:30)
Are you an experienced Administrator looking to make a meaningful contribution in a vital medical environment? We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Administrator to support our busy team in Cork City centre.
This is a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced healthcare setting. You'll be working alongside a dedicated Clerical Officers, helping to maintain efficient administrative processes and high standards of patient service.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- General clerical duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and telephone handling
 
- Supporting appointment and list management using PIMS (or similar systems)
 
- Liaising with medical and administrative staff to support patient flow
 
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
 
- Assisting with reporting and departmental communications
 
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
 
- Familiarity with PIMS and/or outpatient list management highly desirable
 
- Ability to manage a busy workload with attention to detail and accuracy
 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 
- Comfortable working in a rota-based role (must be available between 8:00-17:30)
 
- Ready to start in early October
