Office in Woking, Surrey

Monday - Friday, 9 - 5

Up to £20k

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer focused individual to join a very successful, growing business in Woking, Surrey. This is a well established company who have exciting plans for expansion and the role is a newly created position in the team due to growth.

We are open to looking at applicants who do not have previous office experience, as long as you have customer service experience (eg retail, hospitality, travel, catering etc) and excellent communication skills then we will consider you for this role!

The role is Customer Service Advisor and the focus is to provide the highest possible standard of service to customers. Responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for customer requests / enquiries via email, telephone, live chat and social media channels
  • Provide product information, technical specs, stock availability / lead times and other information to customers
  • Handle all enquiries in an efficient and professional manner and within Service Level Agreements and agreed time frames
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints including delivery delays, missing items, faulty products etc
  • Resolve any issues quickly and patiently
  • Ensure that all customer communication is recorded accurately on the CMS system
  • Assist in driving sales through maintaining excellent product knowledge and converting enquiries into placed orders

This is a varied and busy role which requires outstanding communication skills and a genuine customer focus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is key when confirming product information / technical specs / order details / pricing etc.

We are looking for someone who has proven Customer Service skills but we are open minded about what industry / sector you are coming from - candidates with experience in retail, travel, catering, hospitality etc are welcome to apply. Full training will be provided, as long as you are confident in dealing with customers the rest can be learnt!
