Join a fast-growing hospitality SaaS company as a Business Development Manager, driving client acquisition and revenue growth across the Japan market. You will lead sales initiatives end-to-end, working with hotels, travel partners, and global teams to deliver tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle sales activities, from prospecting and demos to negotiation and closing.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers at hotels, hotel chains, and travel partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with regional teams to adapt solutions to client needs.
- Track and analyze sales performance, pipeline, and client feedback to refine strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events and support go-to-market initiatives.
- Act as a key voice for Japan, providing insights to guide product development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally within hospitality, SaaS, or travel technology
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to hotels or clients in the travel and hospitality industry is preferred
- Proven experience managing the full sales pipeline, including prospecting, negotiation, and deal closure, using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Demonstrated track record of driving growth in new or developing markets
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and structured sales reporting.
Soft Skills:
- Strong hunger mindset with a consultative and solution-oriented sales approach
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities, comfortable conducting live or virtual product demonstrations
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a global, fast-paced environment
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native fluency (required for client engagement).
- English: Business level (for global collaboration).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience running live and virtual product demos.
- Proven ability to create and tailor proposals to client requirements.
