Job Description

An exciting Internal Communications Director (Group) opportunity with an extremely well known, household UK financial services brand is now open for a passionate and strategic leader.

Due to a recent internal promotion, a new opportunity for a senior internal communications leader has come up within a well known UK & global financial services organisation. This will be a senior internal communications leader who who will inherit an existing team and be tasked with defining, driving and implementing core channel strategy across the wider group.

Core channels will include broadcast (distribution lists, email, digital signage), self-serve (intranet), interact and publish. This role will inherit an existing team of event management, internal communications, content and intranet focused specialists. The role will be responsible for executing an internal communications channel strategy designed to engage, connect and inform, with a focus on martech and multimedia adoption.

This will include driving best practice and channel strategy from an internal communications and change / transformation angle. Building out a future strategy for growth, streamlining customer and employee experience as well as leading editorial & senior leadership content across internal channels via managing various indirect & cross functional departments & resources will all be part of your day to day.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Bring 10 years+ relevant commercial internal communications experience.
  • Be strategic outcomes focused; setting up frameworks, KPIs and measurements within internal communication objectives.
  • Come from a digital OR internal communications background, ideally within a large complex matrix environment.
  • Have relevant knowledge within financial services or other highly regulated industry working across a group function or international exposure.
  • Be familiar working in an extremely fast paced workplace with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels, as you will be and be able to manageingup and down in a highly cross functional & departmental environment.
