My client, an ambitious and growing global leader is currently seeking an experienced marketing executive to join their team. This role will sit within a very exciting brand which has recently been acquired and adds another string to this companies long list of successful offerings.

If you are a marketing executive with previous experience in consumer and/or retail/trade marketing, then this is an opportunity not to be missed!

The Role:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing, the Brand Manager and Digital Manager on ATL and BTL comms in offline and digital media for domestic and export markets.
  • Working on the brands Social Media activity, including: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of direct messaging and customer engagement.
  • Developing content creation plans with Brand Manager and publishing content in line with campaign schedules.
  • Writing consumer focused blogs to drive engagement and increase follower base.
  • Implementing an outreach programme to create user generated content to support consumer focused campaigns.
  • Publishing content across all digital platforms, including website, social, ezine formats.
  • Supporting domestic and export sales teams with trade shows, outdoor events and POS materials/ merchandise.
  • Execution of event logistics in conjunction with partner marketing executives.
  • Working with management to implement and track domestic and export trade and distributor marketing plans designed to increase sales and brand/category presence in each market.
  • Building strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams, including internal teams as well as outside partners.
  • Keeping up to date with retailer market activity and trends, sharing relevant insights and opportunities with the business.
  • Management of brand Marketing purchasing orders and reporting. Marketing merchandise and brand assets, including ordering, stock management and budget control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two to three years' experience in consumer and/or retail/trade marketing required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, advertising and/or communication or relevant experience.
  • Experience in creating artwork for: advertising, packaging, social media and digital purposes, using relevant design software.
  • Experience editing images and videos with editing tools to maximise comms on social media platforms.
  • Experience in creating content such as blogs, videos and imagery with strong attention to detail - spelling and grammar.
  • Solid understanding of Social Media / Digital required including:
    • A good understanding of Facebook pages manager and adverts manager would be very beneficial.
    • A good understanding of Instagram, with regard to use of stores, videos, filters, hashtags etc. for Instagram business accounts.
    • Knowledge of Mail chimp and experience of executing email marketing initiatives.
    • Good analytical skills required as well as knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with cross functional, wider marketing team as well as external suppliers.
  • Good administration skills.
