Job Description

Morgan McKinley are delighted to be partnering with a leading Asset Management company located in Dublin , Ireland.

Principal Responsibilities

As a member of the Settlements team, reporting to the Supervisor, the position includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Confirmation of all treasury transactions ( Such transactions include Government Bonds/TBills, Loans, Derivatives,, Foreign exchange transactions, short-term instruments and retail debt products associated with the State Savings schemes)
  • Preparation of SWIFT payments and confirmations.
  • Reports & reconciliations of daily activities.
  • Communication with traders and other relevant parties to quickly and efficiently manage exceptions.
  • Maintaining effective operational relationships with stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the implementation of a new treasury management system.

Experience & Knowledge

  • A working knowledge of SWIFT messages and Euroclear essential.
  • Well-developed knowledge of treasury products along with a good working knowledge of key middle- & back- office roles and responsibilities.
  • Must have minimum of 2/3 years experience within financial services in either settlements, systems or custody role.

Skills

  • Ability to quickly establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders and to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Good IT skills (MS Office).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
